It's been a busy winter for the New York Yankees. The Yanks are bringing back Aaron Boone as the Manager for 2024! Plus, the Yankees have gone out and made some trades and signed some Free agents including signing Juan Soto who promises to be a nice compliment in the line up with Aaron Judge as a nice 1-2 Power Punch!
The New York Mets had a tough 2023 and are in the process of an overhaul for the 2024 season. They have cut some big salaries, made some trades, and lost some players to Free Agency as they prepare for a new look with a new manager in 2024!
New Giants Head Coach Brian Daboll was selected as the 2022-23 Coach of the year. Daboll got the Giants back into the Post Season again in 2023. However, 2023-24 has been a disaster! Giants final game of the season is tomorrow (1/7/24) and it would not be to big of a shock if last years Coach of the year gets the Axe.
Aaron Rodgers became a New York Jet and the Jets were featured in 5 Prime Time Football games this season. Rodgers wore #8. However, Rodgers only saw one series the entire year as he was injured in the very first series of plays in 2023-24 and the Jets struggled again this season and did not make the playoffs.
The New York Knicks were eliminated from the 2023 playoffs by the 8th seeded Miami Heat. The Heat were just too much this year for the Knicks. Off season questions will surfae about the Knicks moving forward. (5/29/23).
It was not too long ago that the Brooklyn Nets put together what they felt was an All Star team with Kevein Durant, James Hardin, and Kyrie Irving. Today (5/29/23) they have each moved on to different teams. No Nets banner, no deep playoff, etc. The Nets will spend the off season coming up with a new plan for 2023.
The Rangers have been eliminated from the playoffs and another years has passed by since the Rangers last won a Stanley Cup in 1994. Despite the ups and downs Lane Lambert we have learned today (5/29/23) that Lambert will be back as the Islanders Coach next season. Nick LaCapria will have a commentary about this 6/15
